ATV is an acronym for 'All Terrain Vehicle', also known as a quad, quad bike, or four-wheeler, essentially, it is a one seater off road vehicle.

UTV is an acronym for 'Utility Terrain Vehicle'. These are similar to an ATV, but they typically have a side by side seating arrangement. Many have seat belts and roll over protection, and most have a cargo box at the rear of the vehicle. The UTV’s generally have a higher payload capability and are longer and wider than ATV’s.

A snowmobile, also known as a sled or a snowmachine, is a land vehicle designed for winter travel on snow.
